THE WORLD'S LAST PROPHECY
At the time of Noah, the earth had reached a crisis point. By turning away from God’s commandments, the majority of the world had become so corrupt that the book of Genesis says that:
“EVERY IMAGINATION OF THE THOUGHTS OF HIS HEART WAS ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY.” (GEN 6:5).
God commanded Noah to prepare the Ark, which would provide a way of escape for any person who would turn away from their sin and seek God’s forgiveness. But only eight people obeyed God’s warning and when the door of the Ark was closed, the patience of God and the offer of God's mercy both finished. Every person who had despised righteousness, was left to receive the reward for their evil and be destroyed.
At this time in history, the events that lead to the return of Jesus Christ have been prophesised in the Bible, which says:
“BUT AS THE DAYS OF NOE WERE, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN.” (MATT 24:37-39).
The world's last prophecy is found in the final chapter of the Bible, in the book of Revelation.
“AND, BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE. I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE FIRST AND THE LAST. BLESSED ARE THEY THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, THAT THEY MAY HAVE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE, AND MAY ENTER IN THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY. FOR WITHOUT ARE DOGS, AND SORCERERS, AND WHOREMONGERS, AND MURDERERS, AND IDOLATERS, AND WHOSOEVER LOVETH AND MAKETH A LIE.” (REVELATION 22:12-15).
Multiple prophecies throughout the Bible warn of the catastrophic consequences of rejecting God’s commandments. Sin is the "transgression of the law" (1John 3:4), and the violence and hatred that evil produces can only end in utter destruction.
When Jesus Christ returns, the Bible tells us that those people who have turned away from sin and received forgiveness through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, will be resurrected to receive eternal life. (Ref. 1Thess 4:16).
“MARVEL NOT AT THIS: FOR THE HOUR IS COMING, IN THE WHICH ALL THAT ARE IN THE GRAVES SHALL HEAR HIS VOICE, AND SHALL COME FORTH; THEY THAT HAVE DONE GOOD, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE; AND THEY THAT HAVE DONE EVIL, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION.” (JOHN 5:28-29).
The resurrection of damnation is fulfilled after another thousand years, when those people will face their reward and permanent destruction in the Lake of Fire. (Ref. Revelation 20.5). As it was in the days of Noah when the door of the Ark was closed, every person will have made their decision either for life or death before Jesus Christ returns.
God takes "no pleasure in the death of the wicked" (Ref. Ezekiel. 33:11). Jude 1:7 tells us that the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gommorrha by fire and brimstone, "are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire". The Lake of Fire ceases to exist once the wicked have been consumed.
A hidden danger that exists just before Jesus Christ returns, lies within every "Christian" church today. Over the centuries the foundational doctrines of pagan Baal worship which were practiced during the times of the Old Testament, have been brought into the "Christian" churches and given Christian titles. This has taken place so gradually that most Christians today are not aware of the origin of the doctrines that their churches now uphold, and which cause them to transgress God's commandments. These doctrines include:
THE WORSHIP OF A TRINITY "GOD".
SUNDAY REST
CHRISTMAS AND EASTER SERVICES.
The doctrine of the Trinity defined the pagan “god” of Baal worship that existed during the time of the Old Testament. The nation of Israel was different to the surrounding kingdoms that followed paganism. Israel worshipped a singular God who created all things through His Son. The Encyclopedia Britannica tells us that:
“Israel presents us with the first example of a monotheistic nation”.
(Encyclopaedia Britannica, ninth edition vol23 p239).
Jesus Christ stated.
“HEAR, O ISRAEL; THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD:” (MARK 12:29).
The Apostle Paul understood that the “spirit” of God was the “MIND” of God, and not a third “god”. The prophet Isaiah wrote:
"WHO HATH DIRECTED THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD, OR [BEING] HIS COUNSELLOR HATH TAUGHT HIM?" (ISAIAH 40:13).
The apostle Paul quoted this verse saying:
"FOR WHO HATH KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD? OR WHO HATH BEEN HIS COUNSELLOR?" (ROMANS 11:34).
The Trinity doctrine was established in the churches by the Nicene and Constantinople Creeds, which the Encyclopedia Britannica states were not based on the Bible, but were:
“formulated in the terms of Greek and Roman metaphysics.”
(Encyclopedia Britannica, Ninth edition, Vol. 23, p240).
The definition of the Trinity says that Jesus Christ is self-existent and is co-eternal with the Father. This eliminates a genuine father and son relationship, and reduces the titles of “Father” and “Son” to just figurative names.
“the Persons are co-eternal and co-equal: all alike are uncreated and omnipotent.”
(Catholic Encyclopedia, “The dogma of the Trinity”).
“The Father Son and Spirit are equally self-existent."
(Seventh Day Adventist (after 1980), 27 Fundamental Beliefs, p61).
The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is NOT self-existent, and that his life was given to him by the Father:
“FOR AS THE FATHER HATH LIFE IN HIMSELF, SO HATH HE GIVEN TO THE SON TO HAVE LIFE IN HIMSELF.” (JOHN 5:26).
Jesus Christ existed before the week of Creation, and therefore the point at which his Father gave him life cannot refer to the time of his first advent here on earth. Jesus Christ is not a created being, but came forth directly from the Father, and is God’s ONLY begotten Son. (Ref. John 8:42, 16:28).
The apostle John tells us that the denial of the Father and the Son is one of the identifying features of the antichrist.
"WHO IS A LIAR BUT HE THAT DENIETH THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST? HE IS ANTICHRIST THAT DENIETH THE FATHER AND THE SON.” (1JOHN 2:22-23).
The Bible never mentions the word “Trinity”. The only verse that seems to teach the Trinity is found in 1John 5:7-8, but this verse is known to have been corrupted by Erasmus in the year 1522. No manuscript written before the 16th century contains the corrupted trinity form of this verse. Even Erasmus noted that he believed the 16th century manuscript that he had used to compile the book of 1John, had been tampered with, and that this verse was a forgery.
The correct form of the verse of 1John 5:7-8 should read as follows. and contains no mention of the Trinity:
"FOR THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR RECORD, THE SPIRIT, THE WATER AND THE BLOOD: AND THESE THREE AGREE IN ONE." (1JOHN 5:7-8).
According to the Bible, God made the heaven and the earth in six days, and rested upon the seventh day.
“FOR IN SIX DAYS THE LORD MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH, THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IN THEM IS, AND RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: WHEREFORE THE LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY, AND HALLOWED IT.” (EXODUS 20:11).
The Sabbath commandment is the fourth commandment of God’s law, and precisely sanctifies the seventh day of each week (Saturday), as the day of rest for God’s people, in order that they remember God’s perfect work of creation.
In 321ad, the Roman Emperor Constantine boldly proclaimed a new law compelling the Roman citizens to rest on the first day of the week, (Sunday), instead of on the seventh day as God has commanded. The Old Testament prophecy of Daniel 7:25 foretold this event would take place, which would directly confront every Christian from that time onwards, and test their loyalty to God.
THE SAME WICKEDNESS THAT EXISTED BEFORE THE FLOOD DURING THE DAYS OF NOAH, IS BEING REPEATED BEFORE OUR EYES TODAY.
By accepting the false doctrines of paganism, the fallen “churches” have turned away from God’s commandments and rejected the New Testament Covenant. This has placed the congregations of these fallen “churches” in great danger by making each member of the congregation a partaker with those who transgress God's law.
The New Testament covenant which God has offered says:
“I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MIND, AND WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS: AND I WILL BE TO THEM A GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE TO ME A PEOPLE:” (HEBREWS 8:10).
The Bible warns us that those people who transgress Gods Ten Commandments will be called “workers of iniquity”, and be rejected by Jesus Christ when he returns.
“NOT EVERY ONE THAT SAITH UNTO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. MANY WILL SAY TO ME IN THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT PROPHESIED IN THY NAME? AND IN THY NAME HAVE CAST OUT DEVILS? AND IN THY NAME DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS? AND THEN WILL I PROFESS UNTO THEM, I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY.” (MATTHEW 7:21-23).
It is the responsibility of every person to decide whether they will accept God’s offer of forgiveness, and follow after righteousness according to His covenant, or not. Jesus Christ has personally paid the price for the penalty of our sins himself, and has promised that:
“ALL THAT THE FATHER GIVETH ME SHALL COME TO ME; AND HIM THAT COMETH TO ME I WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT.” (JOHN 6:37).
Please take the time to consider what Jesus Christ has done for each of us. Seek God’s mercy and kindness and turn away from all evil.
